Kristy, the visionary behind Flowers By Coley Dallas, began her floral journey in 2000, launching a wedding and events business from her home. Her passion and talent quickly blossomed, and by 2007, she opened her first brick-and-mortar shop, bringing her signature style of high-end design to a wider audience. In 2013, Kristy moved her flagship location to the vibrant Kearny Mesa neighborhood in San Diego. One year later, Kristy expanded again with a chic storefront in a boutique Orange County mall, continuing to grow one elegant bloom at a time.
Owner Alex has been working in floristry since 1998, mastering nearly every role along the way. His all-in approach and commitment to excellence have made him an invaluable part of the Flowers By Coley story. In 2009, he joined forces with Kristy, bringing his passion and expertise to the growing business. Since then, Alex has been a driving force behind its continued expansion and success, helping shape the brand into the trusted, flourishing name it is today.
In August 2020, Kristy and Alex took their vision to new heights, opening their third and fourth locations in Las Vegas and Denver. However, the momentum didn't stop there. By 2022, they opened a fifth location in Scottsdale, followed by number six in San Francisco in 2023, and number seven in California's Coachella Valley in 2024. Flowers By San Jose joined the family in early 2025 as their eighth location. And in April 2025, Flowers By Coley Dallas opened, marking a new chapter of serving the vibrant, ever-growing communities across the Dallas metro area.
Beyond her work in floristry, Kristy has dedicated much of her career to giving back, passionately supporting nonprofit organizations and causes that uplift abused youth and children in foster care. Kristy's commitment to making a difference extends into her professional life as well. She's an active member of several respected organizations, including the San Diego Chapter of the National Association for Catering & Events, the San Diego Association of Bridal Consultants, Executive Women's International, and Thursday Club Juniors.
